Lina C. Beadle was born in Clinton County, MI on January 25, 1875. He was employed by Motor Wheel, a Lansing auto parts supplier, for 23 years before retiring in 1945. Lina and his wife, Maude, also owned the Beadle Convalescent Home for the chronically ill. It was located in the couple's residence at 1300 High Street in Lansing.
Lina died in Lansing on November 28, 1953. Services for him were held two days later at the Goraline-Runciman Funeral Home and conducted by the Rev. Lester Boyd of the Pennsylvania Avenue Baptist Church. Lina was survived by his wife (who died the following year), sons H.G. Beadle and John Beadle and daughter Athol Withrow (the second wife of John D. Withrow). All of the survivors were living in Lansing at the time.
