  Born March 7, 1895, Salt Lake City, to John William and Sarah Reynolds Cook. Married Katherine Spencer April 11, 1919, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Nov. 3, 1973. Member LDS Church. Monument Park 2nd Ward, member high priest group, ward home teacher, representative for stake special interest group, superintendent Sunday school in the Southgate Ward. Veteran WW I. Member Salt Lake City Barracks and auxiliary #1479. Retired employee of the Paris Co.
  Survivors: daughter, Mrs. Robert C. (Katherine) Taylor, Provo; three grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Ernest (Stella C.) Nelson, Salt Lake City.
  Funeral services Thursday noon in the Monument Park 2nd Ward, 1005 S. 200 East. Friends may call at the Deseret Mortuary, 36 E. 7th South, Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and at the ward Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens with military graveside rites.
