Rick L. White, 56, of rural Pleasant Hill, IL passed away Tuesday morning (1-1-19) at his home.
Rick was born October 25, 1962 in Pittsfield, a son of Fred Lee, Jr. and Freda N. McDonald White.
Following graduation from Pleasant Hill High School, Rick enlisted and served in the United Sates Army.
He had been employed as a farm hand for Jerry Webster for many years.
Rick enjoyed camping, fishing, barbequing and all types of outdoor activities.
Survivors include four children, Josh Lawson of Woodworth, LA, Jacob Lawson of Webster, TX, Elisha Craig of Dry Prong, LA and Cory White of Dry Prong, LA, twelve grandchildren, his mother, Freda White of New Canton, two sisters, Becky (Mike) Hobbs of Pleasant Hill and Brenda White of New Canton and a brother, Matthew White of New Canton.
Rick was preceded in death by his father, Fred L. White, Jr and a grandson, Adam Lawson.
Funeral services will be held Friday (1-4-19) at 2:00 p.m. at the Lummis Funeral Home in Pleasant Hill conducted by Pastor Don Hannel. Burial, with military honors, will follow at Crescent Heights Cemetery in Pleasant Hill. Visitation will be held from 12 noon until time of services on Friday.
