It is with great sadness we announce the passing of one of Earth’s greatest souls, Shelly Lynn Duncan, 52, of Ogden, passed away surrounded by family on 02 Jan 2019 after a 9-year battle with cancer. She was born 02 Dec 1966 to Dean and Patsy Duncan of Morgan, Utah. She graduated from Morgan High School and Weber State cosmetology. She was the Regional Manager of Sears Hair Studio, where she enjoyed many cherished friendships.
Shelly was loved by all who met her. Her favorite times were spent with the love of her life, Marc Zaring, and her family. She adored all 30 of her nieces and nephews, and spending time with them brought her much joy. She loved her trips to the ocean and had a talent for picking the winning slot machines. She was an accomplished self-taught artist. Her beautiful floral and ballerina oil paintings are treasured gifts.
Shelly was preceded in death by her grandparents, nephew Kevin and uncles David and Max. She is survived by her Parents, Siblings Chris, Clint (Jennifer), JanaLee (Matthew), Dana (Shaun), Chad, Shane (Mindy), and Carrie (Ryan).
A viewing will be held Friday, January 4, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. and prior to the service at the Milton LDS church, 1255 North Morgan Valley Drive, Morgan, UT
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Milton LDS church. Interment will follow at the Peterson Cemetery.
