Janice Marie Garner, age 71, died on Monday, December 31, 2018.
She was born in Giles County, TN, on September 5, 1947, and a health care provider. She was involved in the Women of The Church of God, a Pink Lady, and a member of the Gospel Music Association. She worked actively with the Giles County Historical Society. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Henry and Maybell Worrick Dunnavant, her sister, Martha Davis, and her son, Ronald Joe Garner.
Her survivors include her husband, Billy Joe Garner of Pulaski, TN, her sons, William Garner and wife Sherry of Pulaski, TN and Gary Garner and wife Brandy of Lewisburg, TN, her daughter, Jeannette Thorpe and husband Tim of Fayetteville, TN, her brother, Robert Dunnavant and wife Linda of Pulaski, TN, her 4 grandchildren, and her 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2018, at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, with Funeral Services to begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial to follow in Wright's Cemetery.
