Chad E. Humphrey, age 32, of Clinton, MI, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 due to an auto accident. He was born in Ann Arbor, MI on April 5, 1985 to Melvin and Lenore Humphrey. Chad was a 2003 graduate of Clinton High School. He worked at Martinrae Industries in Manchester, MI and was proud to have recently been promoted to Team Leader. He enjoyed fishing, music, snowmobiling, disc golf, spending time with family and friends, attending concerts and Tigers games, and was a huge Michigan football fan who loved attending and watching as many games as he could. Chad was beloved by everyone and known for his generous heart and helping others.
Chad is survived by his mother, Lenore (Beaudry) Humphrey of Clinton, MI; a brother, Jason Luckhardt of Michigan; as sister, Brandi Humphrey of Milan, MI; a nephew, Carter Humphrey of Ann Arbor, MI; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Melvin “Mel” Humphrey; a brother, Bryan Humphrey; grandmother, Betty Tooman; and an aunt, Denise Humphrey.
Funeral services for Chad will be held on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 11am at the Clinton United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 3-8pm at the Clinton Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes and also from 10am until the time of the service on Monday. Burial will follow at Marble Park Cemetery in Milan, MI. Following the burial, a luncheon in Celebration of Chad's Life will be provided by the Family, Martinrae Industries, and the Road Angels Motorcycle Club at the Road Angels Clubhouse.
