Teresa Gay Warner, 63, of Newton. Iowa, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at the Hospice Comfort House in Pella. No services are scheduled. The Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory is handling the cremation. Memorials to the Hospice Comfort House in Pella.
Gay, the daughter of Eldon Howard and Maxine (Hodges) Cassady, was born on December 12, 1955, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton. She graduated from Newton High School and lived in Newton her entire life. Gay married Bill Warner on July 13, 1991, in Adel. She worked as a nurse's aide at area nursing homes for 25 years. More recently she and Bill owned rental properties in Newton. Gay was a talented interior decorator and also enjoyed landscaping and working in the yard.
Surviving are her husband, Bill Warner of Newton, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Debbie and Kelli.
