The American Soldier
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather, we should thank God that such men lived.” George S Patton

Harold has gone.
We miss him.
We will miss him for a long time.
But, let us thank God that such a man lived!

And how he lived!
Everyday he was up at dawn, having coffee, reading his Bible and praying for his family and guidance for the day ahead.

He was a soldier!
He served 4 years in the Air Force and 4 years in National Guard, with 12 years in the reserves.

He loved to sing! Our Father who art in heaven, Hollowed by Thy name Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory Forever- Amen!

He lived in Alabama, Texas, New Mexico & Colorado. He worked as a farmer, lumberjack, oil field worker, carpenter, painter and maintenance man. He was self employed for 30 years.

Everyday he expressed love to his family. All were important and precious to him. He helped others in every place that he lived.

God was and is the center of Harold’s life. He has gone to be with Jesus, his very best Friend.

He is survived by Barbara Crane of San Jon, NM, 3 sons, David Crane of San Jon, NM, Tom Crane of San Jon, NM and Don & Andrea Crane of Snyder, TX, daughter Ellen & Kenneth Boehs. 9 Grandchildren: Brandon, Jeremy, Kristina, Katie, Rebecca, Taylor, Lainey, Erin & Caitlyn.
