Mr. Randy Scott “Scotty” Jones, age 58, passed away on Monday May 15, 2017 in Morton, MS. Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 17, 2017 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday May 18, 2017 at 11:00AM at the Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Lake, MS. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow in the Pine Ridge Baptist Cemetery. Bro. Larry Laird and Bro. Ben Jones will officiate. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Jones was a lifelong resident of the Gibbstown Community. He loved scuba diving, painting, farming, and was the drummer for the Kreeper Nelson Band. At the time of his death, he was a meat inspector for the USDA. He also worked for the Mid-State telephone company for over twenty-five years.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Windham Jones. He is survived by his father, J.B. Jones of Lawrence, MS; three brothers, Benny Jones (Paula) of Lauderdale, MS, Ritchie Jones (Brenda) of Pearl, MS, and Jeff Jones of Lawrence, MS; two sisters, Jan Nester (Eddie) of Lake, MS and Tammy Gibbs (Britt) of Union, MS; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Jake Nester, Steven McGee, Jonathan Gibbs, Grant Gibbs, Todd Watkins, and T.J. Watkins.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the members of the Kreeper Nelson Band.
