Mrs. Stacy Baker, 98, of 1400 East 9th Street, Okmulgee, Oklahoma died at her home March 11. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama and is a former Baxter County resident. After moving to Arkansas, she married T. J. Baker. They resided at Big Flat, Baxter County, Arkansas until 1902 when the family moved to Oklahoma.
Mrs. Baker was a member of the First Christian church of Okmulgee. Survivors include a daughter Mrs. John Taylor of Austin, Texas; three sons Garland Baker, Menard W. Baker, and Grover C. Baker all of Okmulgee; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; Her grandchildren include T. J. McCabe and Mrs. Maizie Hurst of Mountain Home.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 12 in the Davis Funeral chapel, Okmulgee cemetery.
