On Thursday, December 27, 2018 surrounded by her family Ann Margaret Kilbourn Bridge passed away at Concord Hospital after a long period of failing health, she was 88.

Ann was born in Groton, MA October 25, 1930, the youngest child of Dr. Arthur Goss Kilbourn and Georgie C. R. (Rogers) Kilbourn. Her father founded The Groton Hospital now Nashoba Community Hospital.

In 1948 she graduated from St. Mary's in The Mountains now known as The White Mountain School in Littleton, NH. Ann celebrated her 70th reunion this past Fall. She earned an associate degree from Garland Junior College now called Garland School part of Simmons College in Boston, MA in 1950.

Ann worked as a dietitian at Burbank Hospital in Fitchburg, MA where she met her husband, Carl J. Bridge MD.

Ann and Carl married in Ayer, MA on February 17, 1951. Carl served in the U.S. Army and moved many times finally settling in Keene, NH in 1963.

While in Keene Ann was involved in many community groups including Extension, DAR, Red Cross, Women's Auxiliary and Mothers' of America and was a member and a choir member of St. James Episcopal Church. Ann drove The Jiminy Cricket Nursery School Van for many years which she enjoyed very much.

She moved from Keene to Concord in 1997. She lived the rest of her life at Heritage Heights/Havenwood Community. Ann was a very active resident where she continued in Extension, DAR, led knitting groups at both campuses, a Red Hatter Group, Share and Care group and an active member of Grace Episcopal Church. She was honored in 2016 for being a 50-year member of DAR.

Ann is survived by her five children.

Ann was a very loving caring person to her family and was blessed with many good special friendships. She loved cooking, knitting, traveling, music and her beloved cats.

She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Dr. Carl J. Bridge; foster daughter, Katharyn (Vincent) Allen; brothers, William, George, John and Richard Kilbourn and sister, Margery Kilbourn Ladd.

Burial at Groton Cemetery in Groton, MA will take place in the Spring.
