ROY- Russell James McBride died December 1, 2012, at McKay-Dee Hospital. Russ was born August 2, 1971, in Ogden, Utah. His parents were Elizabeth Ann (Page) and William Keith McBride. He graduated from Roy High School and attended Snow College.

He was an entrepreneur and managed at Focus Services. Russell loved football as a fan, player and coach. Russ knew it was important to pass on his football legacy to his son, just as his father had done for him. Through coaching he valued teaching youth life skills. Russ will always be a Royal.

Russell also had a passion for performing. He was in plays, movies, commercials, theatre, and Vegas shows, but his biggest love was making people laugh through improve comedy. Russell has been compared to many great comedians. He had an unprecedented talent for making people laugh and his quick wit. Russ' signature Quick Wits game was "Late for work" and we know that right now he is driving someone crazy explaining why he was "Late". He was loved and respected by his theatre family and friends.

He had a great love for his family and looked forward to gatherings. He was the favorite uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Russell's greatest love and center of his world is his son, Nikolas. The special bond that exists between them is something to be envied. He inspired many to emulate the relationship he had with his son.

Russell is survived by his son Nikolas, his son Chase Valleau, whom he always regretted not knowing better, his mom Elizabeth, two brothers Dayne (Janalee) and Bryon (Brenda), sister Debbie Weyburn (Justin), and many nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father William "Bill", two brothers Matthew and Mitchell, nephew Logan, Uncle Dennis, and grandparents.
The family wants to thank Roy City paramedics, police department, doctors, and nurses at McKay-Dee Hospital, for the care they provided to our loved one.
