Beloved husband of Christine (nee Schachtl). Loving father of Charlene (Aman) Amery, Mary Lucas, Katherine (Ivan) Kuchan, Robert Lucas, Nicholas (Tracy) Lucas, and Janet (Stephen) Taylor. Cherished grandfather of Liana and Joshua Amery, Anthony (Nicole) and Christina Kuchan, Heaven Lucas, Nicholas, Lawrence and Harrison Lucas and Petra Taylor. Dear step-father of Raymond (Ann) Hanneman, Sandra Troia, and Lisa (Rick) Donnelson. Dear step-grandfather of Samantha and Michael. Dear brother of Patricia Lucas and Norine Lucas-Kulzy. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Preceded in death by his first wife, the late Joan (nee Pradovic), his parents, the late Honorable Nicholas F. Lucas, Sr. and the late Anna E. Lucas and his sister, the late Jeanne Garrett.
Graduate of Marquette University High School (1947), Marquette University (1952) and Marquette University Law School (1954). Nicholas served as the City of West Allis Justice of the Peace (1952 – 1967) and was the Municipal Judge of the City of West Allis for 36 years (1967-2003).
Longtime member of the West Allis Knights of Columbus, Council No. 3095 and former Grand Knight.
Visitation Friday, October 5, 2018 at the Bevsek Verbick Funeral Home, 4 PM thru 8 PM with Vigil Service at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, October 6, 2018 at St. Augustine Catholic Church (6762 W. Rogers St.) at 11 AM. Private interment at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
