She met and married Raymond, the love of her life in Arcadia. They were married on December 21 1973. Penny and Raymond were blessed with 3 children, Lacee Carol, Jacob Elijah, and Kurtis Riley.

Penny is survived by her husband of 45 years, Raymond.

Children and in-laws: Daughter Lacee, husband Bill Parod; son, Jacob and fiancé Heather; son Kurtis and girlfriend Courtney.

She was Nana to 10 grandkids, Nick, Madison, AnaLyn, Kristal, Mikinzie, Tristan, Nicolas, Alaina, Rylee and Jasmine.

Penny was a Christian and was saved as a child. She loved the Lord. She prayed for her family daily. She would often be seen saying a quick prayer when things got rough.

Penny worked as a cafeteria worker at Arcadia Elementary School until they closed. She also worked for years at VC’s convenience store.

Penny was a friend to many. Offering advise when asked and never when not asked. Her wisdom and kindness were unparalleled.

Penny loved her family. They were her hobby. She also loved to read. She took pride in her children and grandchildren. She might not have always agreed with our decisions but she always supported us. Some of the best years she had were the 5 years she spent in the truck with Raymond after the kids were grown. She absolutely loved spending that time with him.

Penny was a true treasure and was loved so dearly. She will be missed by all that knew her.
