Rita C. Howard departed this life on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. She was 86 years old and a native of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Rita was the wife of the late Hyford L. Howard, Sr. and the daughter of the late Hattie Brooks and William "Willie" Collins.
She was preceded in death by her children, Darryl Howard, Bryan E. Howard, Ronald Howard, Sr. and Donald E. Howard and grandson, Orlando Howard. Rita is the beloved mother and survived by her children, Pamela Howard Partman (Cecil), Hyford L. Howard, Jr. (Audrea), Gary Howard, Sr.(Karen), Cathy Howard, Kevin Howard, Sr., Carl and Dale W. Howard as well as grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery.
