William H. Drees

Age 81, of Vandalia, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 31, 2018.

Bill was born February 23, 1937 in Sidney, Ohio to the late John C. & Hildreth (Daniel) Drees. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey; and by a sister, Norma Gaier.

Bill was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church for over 50 years. He retired in 1998 from Chrysler as a manager with 32 years of service.

He is survived by his loving wife of the past 58 years, Lois M. (Koverman) Drees; three children, William J. Drees (Terri Rubins), Scott Drees (Stefanee) and Ann McPherson (Dave); four brothers, Fred, Louis (Jan), Ray (Carolyn) & Vernon Drees; four grandchildren, Ryan & Chad McPherson, William S. “Billy” & Michael Drees; and by his extended family & many good friends.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. John Tonkin at 11:00 a.m., Saturday (1/5/19) at St. Christopher Church. Interment will follow at Polk Grove Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
