Eugene “Mr. Bigg” Woods, Jr. departed this life on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the age of 90.

He was the loving husband of the late Doralstine Woods; son of the late Eugene and Margaret Woods; adored father of Glenda (Charles) Mitchell, Joyce (Albert) Williams, Curtis, Sterling and Travia Woods, the late Eugene III, Kerry Woods and George Clark; brother of the late Emma Webster, Catherine Higgens, Hazel Miles, Leola Goodmen, Elvie Brumfield, Claretha Mitchell, Curtis and Percy Woods; brother-in-law of Julius Young, Fellonease Woods, Barbara Gardens, Genevia Gabriel, Ester Young and Shirley Woods.

Eugene worked for D & L Tile and Terrazzo Company until he retired in the 1970s. He loved sitting on his front porch entertaining family, friends and neighbors. He also had a passion for watching westerns. He was good provider for his family, positive role model and was always their whenever they needed him.

He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, a devoted companion, Ms. Christeen Meade, devoted and loving niece, Aneice Norman, one godchild, Eddie Christmas and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
