Oliver "Conrad" Gebhart was born in St. Joseph, MO on February 14, 1953. He was one of two sons born to William Frank Davis and Louise (Dillard) Gebhart.
Conrad received his BS in Chemistry from Washington University in 1975. He then attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. Conrad provided counseling and chaplain services at Leavenworth penitentiary. He served as a captain in the US Army and later in the Army Reserves. He was a member of the Harris E Petree American Legion Post 190 in Oregon, MO.
On December 23, 1986 he married in Hiawatha, KS.
Conrad passed away on December 28, 2018 at his Forbes, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife: a brother and sister-in-law; a step-daughter; 2 step-sons; and 2 nephews.
Services were Thursday, Jan 10, 2019 at Chamberlain Funeral Home in Oregon, MO. Burial with military rites will be at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS.
