Lester Ray Moore, son of the late Ray Moore and Violet (Payne) Moore, was born March 16, 1946 in Plato, MO. He passed away December 30, 2018 in the Hickory Manor Nursing Home, Licking, MO at the age of 72 years, 9 months and 14 days.
Lester married Zedena Sullins in 1965 and to this union one daughter was born, Julia Moore. On May 10, 1974 Lester married Evelyn Lucille Bowling Williams in Waynesville, MO and shared over forty years of marriage together.
In 1967 Lester was in an auto accident near St. Louis, MO and had been disabled since then.
Lester loved to tinker, whether it was a lawn mower, cars or any type of small engines.
In addition to his parents, Lester is preceded in death by his wife Lucille Moore; two sisters, Rita K Smith and Lorene Crandon; and a step-daughter, Evelyn Neeley.
Lester leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Julia (Moore) Ramsey and husband Curtis of Licking, MO; a step-daughter, Dana Sutton; a step-son, Kellis Neeley; two brothers, Dean Moore of Roby, MO and Jimmy Moore of Arkansas; a sister, Beverly Berry of Evening Shade, MO and a host of grandkids, great-grandkids and other family members and friends.
