Mr. Eddie Lee Brooks, Jr., 47 of 1 Acadia Drive, Phenix City, AL passed Monday, October 3, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital, Columbus, GA.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Ft. Mitchell, AL with Dr. Patrick Brown, pastor and Rev. Earnest Snead, officiating. Interment will follow in Abercrombie Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, October 14, 2016 from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Mr. Brooks was born September 12, 1969 in Phenix City, AL to Dora Richardson and the late Eddie Lee Brooks, Sr. He had been a Winder at Swift Spinning Mills.
Survivors other than his mother includes four sons, Roderick James, Jhirmetrius Cochran, Eddie Lee Brooks, III and Airen Brooks; one daughter, Amandah Brooks; four brothers, Timothy (Penny) Brooks, Cleveland Richardson, Jr., Johnathan (Kristen) Holloway and Ryne Brooks; seven sisters, Carolyn (Tony) Williams, Onessa Brooks, Kiwana Brooks, Samantha Brooks, LaRonda (Lance) Likely, Aretha Hughley, Nicole Marble; two grandchildren, devoted companion, Debra Allen and a host of other relatives and friends.
