Mr. Alton Floyd Richards Sr., age 83, of Cumming, Ga. passed away Monday, December 31st, 2018 at his residence following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, January 3rd, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Longstreet Baptist Church. Reverends Bobby Padgett and Sanford Payne will officiate.
Mr. Richards was born October 28th, 1935 in Fulton County to the late Samuel and Mary (Little Mama) Richards. He was a long standing member and deacon of Longstreet Baptist Church and retired from the Coca Cola Company after 35 years of service. Alton was loved by and loved his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Mr. Richards is survived by his wife of 64 years, 3 daughters and a son, his grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. Also surviving are 2 brothers.
