Preached for over 50 years up until age 85 at various churches in Middle Tennessee. He worked for Bowers Ink with 30 years of service. He also was a home builder for several years and then automotive sales until his retirement. He was a faithful servant to the Lord and loving husband, father, grandfather and devoted family man.
Preceded in death by wife of 73 years, Gwendolyn "Gwen" Jackson Parker who died December 24, 2018; daughter, Susan Parker; son, Jack Parker; parents, William "Will" Farris Parker (1891-1935) and Ercie Ruth Polston Parker; brother, Marshall Parker, sisters, Terri Martin and Rena Smith.
Survived by: son, Bill (Alice) Parker; daughter, Dru (Buddy) Victory; daughter in law, Linda (John) Pope; grandchildren, Michelle (David) Oakes, Susan (Richard) Graham, Rachel (Kyle) Thomas, Andy (Rebekah) Parker, Wess (Kim) Victory, Cal Victory, Mandy (Daniel) Widick; thirteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Mike Welch and Buddy Victory officiating. A double burial committal will be held for Mr. and Mrs. Parker at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
