Margaret grew up in Georgetown Illinois, and lived more than 60 years in Danville, Illinois, where she was a homemaker and loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Verdie (Galbreath) Shiplock, first husband, Gordon Oliver Cromwell, in 1955, and her second husband, Raymond Fugate, in 1986.
She is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Cromwell) Hunt, of Elgin, Illinois, and Joyce (Cromwell) Latoz, of Danville, Illinois. She is also survived by four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and nieces.
A private family graveside service will be held Friday, January 4, 2019, 12:30 p.m., at the Georgetown Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Sunset’s Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E.
