Christopher A. "Chris" Knight, 37 of Danville, Illinois, left us suddenly on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at his home.

Chris was born March 7, 1981 in Danville. From a young age, Chris developed a passion for mathematics, technology and the physical sciences. During his teenage years at the dawn of the Internet and home computers, Chris taught himself advanced methods of computer programming and by 19 was employed writing code for a Fortune 50 organization.
Those who knew him enjoyed his seemingly shy demeanor that covered a quirky, even boisterous sense of humor and a love of conversation that left us all in awe of his intellect.

Chris leaves behind his brother, Fred (Melanie) Knight; his sister, Kendra Allen; niece, Sadie Allen; nephew, Tyler Knight; aunt, Margaret Black (Don); cousin, Severin Gundlach (Tia); and cherished friends Joe, John and the Jackson brothers.

He was preceded in death by his mother, grandparents and cousin, Nick.
