On December 22, 2018, in Riverside Hospital, God called Keith Arnold Gaither home to be with the rest of His angels. He was born on May 19, 1954, the third son born to the late James Gaither and Gracie James.
On September 13, 1973, Keith enlisted in the United States Army being Honorably discharged on January 9, 1975. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. A lover of family, he lived with his niece and helped to raise his great-niece, Anisah and great-nephew, Amir. He was the biggest football support of Amir and his football team. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Keith's memories will forever remain with his sisters, Paulette and Yvonne; brothers, Ronnie and Roland; nieces, Grenette, Katrice, Katherine, Glendora and Clarissa; nephew, Eligah, Jr.; great-nieces, Anisah and Amirah; great-nephews, Richard and Amir; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2018, in Whiting's Chapel. Private interment will be in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Family and friends to assemble by 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Gaither may be viewed on Friday beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the hour of his service on Friday.
