Roger received his Bachelor Degree from Memphis State University and was the Plant Manager at Ampro Industries, Inc. in Memphis, Tennessee. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He treasured the old Foster Family Homestead in Ramer, Tennessee and would bring his sons there often. In his school days, he was quite the athlete and loved to reminisce about times at Ramer High School.
Roger is survived by his wife, Myriam Cristina Beyikian Foster, one daughter, Amanda Gayle Foster, and three sons, Ryan Dean Foster, U.S. Navy Airman Cory Artin Foster and Cameron Deon Foster, all of Bartlett, Tennessee, one brother, Thomas Dewey Foster and wife, Glenda, of Ramer, Tennessee, two sisters, Mary Lou Foster Gable of St. Louis, Missouri and Mattie Sue Foster Kirk and husband, Jerry, of Oakland, Tennessee, a brother-in-law, Richard Beyikian and wife, Lisa, of Huntington Beach, California and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his older sister, Erma Jean Foster Pierce, older brother, Jesse Franklin Foster, and his father-in-law, Artin Beyikian.
