ROGERSVILLE – Raymond E. Christian, 75, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 29, 2018.
Raymond was born in Hawkins County on April 17, 1943 to the parents of Ralph & Maggie Christian. He retired from Eastman Chemical Company and served as a reserve police officer for the City of Church Hill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph & Maggie Christian.
Raymond is survived by his wife of 57 years, Edna Crawford Christian; sons, Rick Christian (girlfriend, Joanie Justice) & Nick Christian (Melinda); 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; sister, Wyoma Frances Benton (Earl); brother, Lucian Christian; several nieces & nephews.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Clifford Cole officiating. Music will be provided by Jim Crawford. The burial will follow in at the Raymond-Edna Christian Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family & friends.
