Steven James Hess, age 68, passed away peacefully at his home at Apple Tree Assisted Living on Sept. 29, 2018. Steven was born Nov. 7, 1949, in Tremonton, Utah to Evan and Shirley Hess. He married Sharlyn Mortenson in the Ogden Temple.
Steven is survived by his wife Sharlyn, his sisters, Catherine Olson, Gwen Alice Godfrey, and Ellen Lehwalder; his brothers, Curtis Hess and Roger Hess.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, at the Belmont Church (16925 N. 5200 W. Riverside, Utah) at 10 a.m. with a viewing held prior from 9 to 9:45 a.m.
