John H. Garner, age 75 of Paris, TN, died Saturday, July 25, 2020, at Henry County Medical Center.
John was a retired farmer. He enjoyed fishing and rabbit hunting. He was a member of Olive Branch United Methodist Church.
Born March 1, 1945, in Paris, TN, he was the son the late Alvin P. Garner and the late Ruth Beavers Garner.
He is survived by a sister, Margie Wynn of Paris; two brothers, Tommy Garner of Paris, and Leon Garner of Dresden; numerous nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Garner; and four brothers, Truman Garner, William Garner, Charles Garner, and David Garner.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN 38242. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Olive Branch United Methodist Church from 10 am – 12 pm. The funeral service will be at 12:00 pm Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Olive Branch United Methodist Church with Mike Wimberley officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Garner, David Garner, Leon Garner, Jr., Jimmy Garner, Blake Garner, and James Wynn.
Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery.
