Ricky Lee Bowman, 58, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at his home.
He was an employee of the Goodwill store in Big Stone Gap and was a former coal miner.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Naomi Stanley Bowman.
Surviving are son, Ricky Lee Bowman Jr and Susan Renee Williams of Pound; two daughters, Elizabeth Bowman and James Silcox of Rutledge, TN and Ashley Bowman and David Bell of Wise, VA; the mother of Ricky and Ashley, Deborah Mullins; ten grandchildren, Blake, Gage, Grant, Jacob, McKinzie, Ciarra, Shealyn, Naomi, Trinity and Elijah; two brothers, Chris Bowman of Big Stone Gap and Adam Bowman and wife Amy of Wise; sister, Donna Mullins and husband Mark of Dante, VA; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Ricky Lee Bowman will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Pastor Darrell Bolling officiating. Burial will follow in the Addington-Hensley Cemetery in Wise, VA. Family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. till time of services at 2:00 P.M.
