He was born on July 18, 1942 in Fancy Prairie, Illinois, the son of Fred A. and Lena F. Miller Weidhuner. Ron married Karen Nichols on June 30, 1963 and they spent 55 wonderful years together.
Ron is survived by his wife, Karen Weidhuner; three daughters, Tami (Thad) Olson, Diane (Mike) Meador and Tara Weidhuner; two brothers, Delbert (Linda) Weidhuner and Fred (Helen) Weidhuner; one sister, Evelyn (Roger) Beeler; seven grandchildren, Taylor (Cassie), Traci, Trevor and Trent Olson, Joshua, Rachel and Caleb Meador; three great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, William Weidhuner and three sisters, Katherine Peddicord, Doris Curry, and Gloria Felton.
Ron was a member of the Athens Christian Church.
Ron was an avid Cubs fan, loved corvettes and enjoyed playing golf with his friends.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
