She was the daughter of Rudolph and Lela (Howell) Haas. On Dec 31, 1960, in Celina, she married James E. Cunningham, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Jan (Emery Slone) Bruggeman, St. Marys; a son, James (Carla) Cunningham, Celina; a brother, William (Sharon) Haas, Celina; two sisters: Judy (Marvin) McIntosh, Celina, and Helen (Mike) Homan, St. Marys; and seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A 1957 graduate of Celina Senior High School, she retired from Reynolds and Reynolds Corp., Celina, after many years of service. She was known for her cooking and baking skills, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
