William (Bill) Davis Morgan, 61, 39 W. 27th South, died of a heart ailment Friday at 4 p.m. while at work at the old American Roofing Mills warehouse. Born Sept. 16, 1892, in Spanish Fork to Thomas G. and Mary Ann Davis Morgan. Worked at LDS Church Welfare Center as steamfitter. Married Vera Allington, June 1943, in Salt Lake City.
Survivors, widow; five stepchildren, Virgil and Clifton Cline, Kearns; Eris Whall and Jerry Cline, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Catherine Lehman, Vallejo, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Eleanore Taylor, Mrs. Hazel Burrell, Mrs. Amelia Evans and Mrs. Lucy Taylor, all of Salt Lake City; 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
