Zella Margaret Wilson, Calhoun, Route 2, died Friday, February 9. She was born February 9, 1893 in Benton County. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Calhoun Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Gardner officiating with Rev. Frank Kirkland assisting. Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Gilbert Wilson, one son, Ellis Wilson, Calhoun, six sisters, Ocie Thomas, Brawley, Calif., Mrs. Ruby Willard, Brawley, Calif., Mrs. Bessie Robins, Sequim, Washington, Mrs. Lizzie Scott, Clinton, Mrs. Ethel Burch, Clinton, Mrs. Florence Dameron, Leeton, two brothers, Buford Brown, Gervais, Oregon, and Cecil Brown, of Clinton. The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 9 p.m. tonight at Consalus Funeral Home.

Last rites for Mrs. Gilbert Wilson, 69, Calhoun, who died Feb. 9, were held at 2:00p.m., Feb. 13, at Calhoun Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Gardner officiating assisted by the Rev. Frank Kirkland. Mrs. Kirkland accompanied a quartet, Mrs. Clifton Fewel, Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Cameron and Harry Redford. Pallbearers were Robert Yount, John Ridgeway, Lester Parks, Roy Sartin, Eastman Peters and John Trollinger. Interment was in Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Consalus Funeral Home. Zella Margaret Brown was born Feb. 9, 1893, in Benton County, southeast of Windsor, the eldest of nine children of Abraham Lincoln and Mary Frances Sampson Brown. At 14 years of age she professed her faith in Christ and united with the Methodist Church. She was a faithful member as long as health permitted, and for the past several years attended Sunday School regularly at the Highland schoolhouse where she taught a class for a time. She married Gilbert Wilson on Sept. 5, 1915, at Hickory Grove Methodist Church. This union was blessed with one son, Ellis, of Calhoun. She was deeply devoted to her family and friends and held a special interest for her home. Though quiet, soft -spoken and unassuming, she made a legion of friends. She loved and showed kindness to the lowliest of God's creatures and found joy in the great out-of-doors. She had been in declining health for several years and for the past two months was bedfast. Besides her husband of the home and the son and daughter-in-law, she leaves six sisters, Mrs. Allen (Ocie) Thomas, Mrs. Marion (Ruby) Willard, Brawley, Calif., Mrs. Uel (Lizzie) Scott, Warrensburg, Mrs. Bricie (Bessie) Robbins, Sequim, Wash., Mrs. Marvin (Ethel) Burch, Clinton. Mrs. Luther (Florence) Dameron, Leeton; two brothers, Buford Brown, Gervais, Ore., Cecil Brown, Clinton; an uncle, the Rev. William Sampson, Marshall, MO.; two aunts, Mrs. Emma Soles, Calhoun, Mrs. Mattie Rains, Clinton; 19 nieces and nephews; 23 grandnieces and grandnephews.
