Frankie Lee (Fort) Russell of Houston, Texas, loving daughter, sister and mother was born May 4, 1943 in Houston, Texas to H. Frank and Velma Fort. Surrounded by her loving family she passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord December 27, 2018, at the age of 75. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving children, Samuel Russell and Samantha Russell. She is also survived by her brother Frank and sister-in-law Linda Fort. She graduated from Reagan High School in 1961. She worked most of her adult life and retired three months prior to her passing. She was a loving and devoted mother. She was looking forward to moving to Galveston, Texas within the next few months to be closer to both of her children. Her love for travel and adventure took her to many exciting places including trips throughout the US including Alaska and overseas, all over Europe to Israel, Russia and Scotland. Frankie attended church regularly and enjoyed singing in the choir and attending weekend retreats with her church friends. She was dearly loved by her family and her many friends and she will be greatly missed.
