Sara Grace Dykes Stone, 87, of Smiths Station, AL passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at her home.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Chapel of the Pines in Parkhill Cemetery . The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, one hour before the service, at the Chapel of the Pines.

Mrs. Stone was born June 9, 1931 in Louisville, AL, daughter of the late Willie B. Dykes and Clara Green Dykes.
She retired from Tom’s Foods after many years of service. Mrs. Stone enjoyed traveling, working with her flowers and collecting antiques. She was a member of Evangel Temple and loved her church family.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Murray Stone; three sisters and four brothers.

She is survived by a sister Lila Powell of Union Springs, AL; a brother, Donald Dykes and wife Glenda of Crawford, AL; extended generations.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregivers, Jackie Easley, Paige Easley and Janice Wilson.
