James “Jimmy Paul” Peeler, 70 years old, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2018 at his home in Benton, Arkansas. He was born at home on December 2, 1948 in Benton, Arkansas to his parents, James “Buck” Peeler and Mary Nell Thomas Peeler. James served in the United States Navy and retired from Alcoa after 41 years. He was a dedicated member and Elder of Zion Lutheran Church of Avilla.
James was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Nell Thomas Peeler.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Elsa Marshall Peeler of Benton, children, Chace (Jessica) Peeler of Benton, Ryan ( Shannon) Peeler of Pennsylvania, Sarah (Michael) Mitchell of Benton, Scott (Melissa) Peeler of Benton, father, James “Buck” Peeler of Benton and sister, Cathy (Rick) Ricketts of Benton.
He was a loving Poppy to his grandchildren, Jessalyn, Emma, Wyatt, Sara Katherine, Elise, Anna Claire, Reid, Libby, Grant, Blair Anderson and one great grandchild, Ellie.
