ADAMS CENTER, NY — Andrew J. Stevens, 30, Adams Center, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Dec. 21, 2018, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse.
Calling hours will be held 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, at Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home.
A spring burial will be in the Lyman Cemetery, Lorraine, NY.
Besides his parents Kenneth and Dora, he is survived by his children William and Andrea Stevens, Adams; his brother Kenneth Stevens, Adams Center; his sister and brother-in-law, Dana and Diego Martinez, Belleville; his companion, Michelle Matthews, Adams; his paternal grandparents, Dennis and Gay Riley, Adams; his maternal grandmother, Kathleen Vine, Adams Center and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Kenneth Stevens, Sr., maternal grandfather, Richard Vine, great-grandparents, Harold and Dorothy Gregory, Sr., Grant and Dora Vine, his uncle David Vine and nephew Kenneth Stevens, Jr.
Born Sept. 12, 1988, in Watertown, NY, a son to Kenneth and Dora Vine Stevens, he attended school in Belleville-Henderson and was currently working for Hi-Lite at the time of his passing.
Andrew loved to fish, especially with his children and girlfriend; he was very dedicated to his family.
He enjoyed his job at Hi-Lite and thought the world of all of his friends there.
