She was born in Mt. Clemens, MI on September 19,1938 to Marvin and Anna Leggett. She married David (Bill) Hodges on March 23, 1957. They hae two children, Ginny Crow (Jerry) and Sandy Hill (Phil). She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Betty Leggett, and brother, Pete Leggett. She was a member of the Madison County Church of Christ. After being a stay at home mom and Air Force wife, she became an LPN and worked at Jackson General Hospital in the 1970s. She then was a secretary at Hall Insurance Agency for over 17 years, before she retired. After retirement, she enjoyed trips with senior clubs and was a member of the Tip Toe Tappers.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, her two daughters and sons in law, her granddaughter Mallory Ray (Eric), her grandson Wesley Ray, and her sister Billie Jean Peterson. She leaves behind many fond memories and will be greatly missed. Her exuberance is her legacy.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons.

The funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with Bro. Ben Flatt officiating. The burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Assn at act.alz.org/donate or to 225 N. Michigan Ave., Flr 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
