Heather was born October 29, 1981 in Wichita Falls, Texas to parents Russell and Donna (Essary) Good. She was a strong spirited fighter beating cancer multiple times since the age of 15. Heather diligently walked with the Lord and read her bible almost daily. She was always accepting of His will and was thankful daily for his blessings despite her poor health for many years. After her first victory over lieukemia she had been told she would never be able to have children. God however had other plans, and blessed her with three beautiful children; Shelbie, Jaxson, and Weston. Her children were the light of her life, each one being cherished as a miracle God had given her. Heather worked many years as a caregiver to the elderly, as well in the food and hospitality industry. She will always be remembered for her spunky personality and being a loving mother, daughter, sister, wife, and friend.
Heather is survived by her father, Russell Good; children, Shelbie Fluharty, Jaxson Thomas, and Weston Thomas; siblings, April Roberson and husband Mike, and Holly McFall and husband Chris; grandmother, Rena Essary; uncle, Jimmy Essary; nephews and nieces, Jacob Roberson, Ethan Roberson, and Jules Organ; as well as many cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Donna; grandparents, Joe and Frances Good, and Phillip Essary; and on uncle, Phillip Essary Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Perkins Church of Christ, 1200 Lovers Lane, Perkins, Oklahoma.
