Rena J. (Marino) Wilson, of Medford, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, December 27th. Born and raised in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary (Macaluso) Marino.

Rena was a devoted parishioner of Saint Joseph's parish of Medford. When she was not participating in church activities, she also loved to knit and crochet, she always made sure that everyone had their share of hats, mittens and blankets, even Max the family dog was included. She loved to travel with her husband David, on trips up north to enjoy the fall foliage or down south to Florida where she enjoyed sitting in the sun. Rena enjoyed playing and connecting with her family and friends on the online game Bejeweled.

Every Sunday the whole family would gather at Rena's house for dinner. Rena loved to spend time with her family, and they were her pride and joy. Rena was a dedicated wife, a great mom, loving grandmother and great-grandmother, friend and neighbor. She will be greatly missed.

Rena was the beloved wife of the late David G. Wilson. She was the devoted mother of Maryellen Wilson-Smith, David Wilson, Melinda Ryder, Melissa Toppi and her husband John and Darin Wilson and his partner Susan. She was the loving grandmother of Matthew and Luke Smith, Wayne and Daniel Ryder and Amanda Jabir and her husband Kamal and great-grandmother of Sophia and Adam Jabir.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday from 4 to 7 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
