Dawn Brooks Lewis Alford, 80, of Pilot passed away on June 25, 2018. She was born in Franklin County on December 28, 1937 to the late Linda Ray Lewis & Claude Gillam Lewis. She graduated from Bunn High School. Dawn worked with the N. C. Revenue Dept. for 20 years & then retired from N. C. State University. She enjoyed working in her yard, taking care of her "precious" Kitty, and was an excellent cook.
Dawn is preceded in death by her husband, L. G. Alford, her sister, Jo Ward Tongue, & her beloved nephew, Timothy Lewis.
