Karen had resided in Jackson for the past two years and was formerly of Saint Louis, Missouri. She had worked at a greenhouse in St. Louis before retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, the outdoors, and landscaping. Karen was a carefree, funny person, with a great sense of humor. She cared for others, was very thoughtful, outgoing and had a good spirit.
On September 7, 1992, Karen was united in marriage to Victor Lee Brock in Saint Louis.
She is survived by her husband, Victor Brock of Jackson, MO; one daughter, Gabriel Brock and Fiancé Tyler Bishop of Jackson, MO; one brother, Kevin Slayden and Wife Connie of Taylor Ridge, IL; one sister, Kathy Estes of Paducah, KY; two grandchildren, Trevor Bishop and Amelia Bishop; and many relatives and friends who mourn her passing.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the McSpadden Funeral Home in Van Buren, MO., with a Graveside Service being held in the Aldrich Valley Cemetery in Van Buren, MO., at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Dave Truncone will be Officiating.
