Paul Gene Davidson, age 73, a resident of East Prairie, MO, died Thursday, December 27, 2018 at his home. Born November 30, 1945 in East Prairie, MO to the late Lubie and Manie Davis Davidson, he was a retired construction foreman. On November 25, 1987, in Benton, KY he married Dottie Gregory; she survives of the home.
Also surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Jessica Davidson of Paducah, KY and Paul Gene and Mariana Davidson, Jr. of Orlando, FL; two daughters and one son-in-law, Kathy and Phil Pierce of Landrum, SC and Annette Niver of Mount Morris, MI; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Stanley and Cindy Davidson of East Prairie, MO and Willie Joe “Sock” and Shirley Davidson of Orlando, FL; and three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Judy and Rhandy Lewis of East Prairie, MO, Teresa and Scott Brawner of Wappapello, MO and Lucille Scott of Michigan. Also surviving is granddaughter Madison Huckstep, who survives of the home; 12 additional grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Davidson; one daughter, Deanna Davidson; and one brother-in-law, Paul Scott.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.
Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. at East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home. Bro. Mike Johnson will officiate.
