Ann was born on September 16, 1935, at home in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Armando Francesco Paglia and Rose (Chidichimo) Paglia. She graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1953. She met Dick Barlow in her senior year of high school and they were married on February 11, 1954.
Ann and Dick moved to Salina, Kansas, in 1962. They adopted three children and raised their family while growing their businesses. Ann worked tirelessly along side Dick in their various endeavors including Tony's Frozen Pizza and REMA bakeware. They sold REMA in 1988 and moved to Estes Park to retire. Instead they created Barlow Plaza and opened three restaurants and two stores. Ann attended Mountain View Bible Fellowship and gave generously to the community.
Ann is survived by husband Dick Barlow, Loveland, Colorado; two sons, Steve (Deb) Barlow, Estes Park, Colorado, and Richard (Niki) Barlow, Estes Park, Colorado; a daughter Armonda Rhee (Jeff) Hegwood, San Diego, California; two brothers, Jim (Betty) Paglia, Atascadero, California, and Joe (Betty) Paglia, Marshalltown, Iowa; seven grandchildren, Rebecca (Chris) Thorp, Casey (Brettney) Barlow, Jesse Hegwood, Shelby (Eric) Perryman, Jordan Fenstermacher, Rachel (Adam) Geoffrion, Brianne Barlow; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, brothers, Greg, Mike, Frank, and Tony, and sisters Kay, Mary, Margaret, and Angie preceded her in death.
