Matthew Dale Jr came to Missouri in 1878, age 16 and worked on the farm of his future father in law, David P Coe. He married Matilda in 1886 when she was not yet 16. Matthew and Matilda had eleven children but only six grew to adulthood. The other five are all buried in Byler, with Matthew and Matilda Dale.
