John Irvin Burge III passed away on December 24, 2018. Born June 20, 1988 he leaves behind his wife, Elizabeth Lloyd Burge and two children, John I Burge IV (3), and Katherine E Burge (3 mo). He is the son of John I Burge Jr. and Joy B Burge of Mobile, AL. He also leaves behind three sisters, Morgan (Erich) Holderer, Katie (Ben) Prothro, and Beth (Jonathan) Smiley. His beloved uncle, Tom Burge (Carol Lee) was like a second father to John and very active in his life. He was the son-in-law of Bill and Leah L Lloyd. He had 3 brothers in law Tyler(Hannah) Lloyd, Cameron(Brianna) Lloyd, and Aidan Lloyd. He joined the US Marine Corps in 2007 and served in Iraq and Kuwait. He worked for Alabama Power from 2011 until his death. An amazing father, husband, brother and friend; he will be greatly missed. Services will be held at Luke 4:18 Fellowship Wednesday January 2, 2019 from 5-8 pm with the funeral being held at Luke 4:18 January 3 at 10 am with a graveside to follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
