Ida Lou Rieks, age 93, of Marshall, died Wednesday, December 26, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 29, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marshall.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Inurnment, as well as Military Rites for Ida Lou’s husband, Wilbert, will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 31, at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Marshall Public Library, or Marshall Senior Center. Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall is in charge of arrangements.

Ida Lou is survived by four daughters: Margret L. Wien (Ken) of Findlay, OH, Linda L. Walker (John) of Tucson, AZ, Carol E. Rieks of Marshall, and Janet E. Hunter (Larry) of Rensselaer, IN; seven grandchildren, Cathy, Mindy, Kate, Meg, Erinn, Ben, and Kim; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Alice Barnes of Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Evert A. Banks and Ruby Lorine Dilley Banks; and husband, Wilbert William Rieks; Ida Lou was preceded in death by two brothers, E.W. Banks and Truman Banks, and one sister in infancy, Ruby Banks.
