Richard Alan Bernard, 64, of Booneville, Arkansas, passed from this life on December 26, 2018 in his home in Booneville, Arkansas. He was born May 22, 1954, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late Glynn L. and Marcia (Bennett) Bernard.
He was a contractor and a certified diving instructor. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Sherwood and the PADI. He served in the Marine Corp during the Vietnam Era.
Funeral service will be 6:00 P.M., Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Roberts Memorial Chapel in Booneville, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 4 to 6:00 PM. prior to the service.
He is survived by his wife: Terry of the home; one son, Richard Glynn Bernard (Jennifer) of Judsonia, Arkansas; two brothers, Robert Lynn Bernard (Gail) of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Steve Bernard of (Colette) Sherwood, Arkansas; one sister, Debry Allyn (Bernard) LaNear of St. Louis, Missouri; two grandchildren; Aaron and Alyssa.
Pallbearers: Richie, Robert, Steve Bernard, Johnny Carter, Todd and Scott Christian.
