Don accepted the Lord at a young age; in 1966, Don surrendered his life to the ministry and went on to lead many to the Lord. He never met a stranger and if you spoke with him even for a moment he would always ask if your soul was right with God. He loved his grandkids and always had candy for every one of them. He had the gift of building things. His last gifts for all the kids were actually personalized signs that he spent countless hours out in the shop working on. In addition to his parents, and wife, he was preceded in death by nine brothers and seven sisters.
